Although it blows cold air, it does very little cooling in an insulated 12X24 metal building. I already had a 10,000 BTU window unit in the building and bought this for additional cooling. It is hard to tell any difference when both are running and the Haier won't cool it alone. In addition it claims it will evaporate the condensate and send it out with the exhaust air. When I got the A/C it ran fine, but I had to modify the sliding window to accept the exhaust. Plexiglass worked, no major issues. Two months after I got this (while out of town of course) my wife a daughter were awakened by the A/C, which was vibrating and "walking" across the office floor. They unplugged it and cranked the A/C to full in the apartment (and froze in the process). I called the HAIER warranty number when I got home. At first, the nearest appointment I could get for "repair" was over two weeks away, but after a lot of complaining, I got an appointment the next day, August 2nd. The repair guy showed up on the...
